Corwin's Notes

===== NGC 845. This is the faintest of three galaxies, and the only one seen by JH. (It was also seen by Stephan, though Esmiol merely calls it "Anonyme"; see UGC 03840 and UGC 4227 in the "notngc" files for more.) For this galaxy, we need to move the WH number (III 604) and the other observer credit to d'A to NGC 841 (which see). That is the brightest of the three.

Steve's Notes

===== NGC 845 17.5" (11/14/87): very faint, small, thin edge-on NW-SE, weak concentration. Located 12' E of NGC 841. This identification of this galaxy with NGC 845 is uncertain.
