Steve's Notes

===== NGC 569 24" (10/1/16): fairly faint, but moderately large, elongated 2:1 NNW-SSE, ~40"x20", fairly low surface brightness, weak concentration. Forms a disrupted interacting pair with UGC 1065 1.1' NE. The companion was only occasionally visible as an extremely faint hazy spot (probably the core). 17.5" (1/1/92): very faint, fairly small, elongated 2:1 NNW-SSE, 1.0'x0.5', low surface brightness with weak concentration.
