Steve's Notes

===== NGC 525 18" (12/3/05): fairly faint, fairly small, slightly elongated, ~50"x40", symmetrical appearance and increases steadily to a brighter core and faint stellar nucleus. Member of the NGC 524 group. A mag 11 star lies 2' NW. 17.5" (10/17/87): faint, very small, slightly elongated, weak concentration. Located 2' SE of a mag 10.5 star in the NGC 524 group. 13" (8/24/84): faint, small, almost round.
