===== NGC 398 18" (11/18/06): very faint, very small, round, 10" diameter. Member of the "Pisces Group" (z = 0.016), though located 20' NE of NGC 383. 17.5" (12/23/89): extremely faint and small, round, low surface brightness. Requires averted to see well. NGC 399 lies 7' NNE.
