NGC 349

17.5" (10/20/90): fairly faint, fairly small, slightly elongated, broad concentration.  Located 4' E of mag 7.2 SAO 129088!  Forms a close pair with NGC 350 1.5' E.  Brightest in a group of six galaxies.
